Level-Headed app lets users control the volume

I came across a pretty interesting Android app this week called Level-Headed. Sometimes it is important to protect your hearing, that way loud sounds do not cause any damage to your ears. So what does this app do exactly? Well, not only does the app detect when the headset is plugged in, it is also able to adjust the volume for every single sound.

When you unplug the headset the original volume your phone was set at is restored. That way when sound is actually close to your ear it is not emitting any dangerous sound waves.  It also lets you customize what levels of sound or noise your phone makes. This is a pretty exciting app for audiologists because it lets people choose what sound level their phone is set on. Click here to view Level-Headed app for the Android phone.
