NOWiHEAR Gets Ready To Launch iOS App: A Unique And Easy Tool For Consumers

September 29, 2011 @ 06:34 AM — by David Smirga, M.A.

On the heels of a successful launch of their Android App, NOWiHEAR will launch the iOS version of their app, complete with the BHI quick hearing check.  The free mobile app is designed to test consumer’s knowledge of their hearing loss and aid them in addressing their hearing loss issues by providing a quick and easy directory of AuDNet Audiologists.

Q: So, how does the app work? And can those new to app technology maneuver it?

One of the key benefits of AuDNet’s new app is the “Quick Hearing Test” that it offers; a series of questions that evaluate the user’s hearing loss based on answers to basic perceptual questions.

Users choose between 1: “Strongly Disagree” and 5: “Strongly Agree” to questions such as: “I misunderstand some words in a sentence and have to ask people to repeat themselves.” The series of fifteen questions ends with a Hearing Test Recommendation as well as a directory for locating an AuDNet Audiologist. Users can input their zip code to find the closest listing of all nearby professionals- making the process of finding a hearing loss professional all the easier.  The app is streamlined and easy for anyone looking to find solutions to their hearing loss by contacting an AuDNet professional.

The app also answers basic questions like, What is Audiology?, links users to AuDNet testimonials on YouTube, and provides information about the founding of AuDNet; and is a necessity for anyone looking to get a better grasp on their hearing problems by quickly locating certified professionals.
