Auditory Processing is how the brain processes verbal information, what you are doing with what you are hearing. It is important to test for it in order to determine whether or not a child has a problem, the best way to help them especially in a classroom as well as with their friends and their family, so that they can make sense of the sounds that they are hearing. It is not only tested in children, it is also tested in adults. Sometimes as a result of an accident or an event, they have changes in their auditory system and it helps us figure out what strategies are going to help them in listening environments.
